aeseaes (pronounced A-C-S) is an independent husband-and-wife musical duo based in Austin, TX. Their songs blend dreamy dark folk with surreal lyrics and cinematic arrangements, featuring upright bass, trombone, vibraphone, piano, cello, collages of found sounds, and beyond. Travis and Allie (and their three cats) stream intimate musical performances every week on Twitch under the name a_couple_streams They released their debut EP Six Songs in 2017, followed by their full-length album Shapeshifter in 2021.
