About

Camden is an alternative jazz/soul artist based in Los Angeles with placements on Netflix’s Riverdale, Paramount+, Pitchfork Magazine, Ones To Watch, Early Rising, MTV, VH1, and Spotify curated playlists Fresh Finds, and New Music Friday. His collaboration with London based artist, Pastel, ‘Don’t Feel It’ received instant support from The Sound You Need, and was also played internationally in Zara and H&M stores. Camden also gained notoriety when his collaboration with Prince Fox, and Brigetta, ‘Problem’, received playlist support from Steve Aoki, Pitbull, and Marshmello. Having opened for acts like Kota The Friend, Rayland Baxter, X-Ambassadors, Jake Wesley Rogers, & Daniel Nunnelee; Camden took a break from the road to finish his debut EP “Erosion” with friend, and producer, Luke Saison. With sonic inspiration from jazz artists like Chet Baker, and contemporaries King Krule & Moses Sumney, the EP maintains a ‘no rules’ joie de vivre. Blending elements of jazz, rock, and folk, Camden says “This EP terrifies me...that’s why I’m making it”. The record features collaborative efforts from some of Camden’s music heroes. To name a few, Beni Giles (credits Oscar Jerome & Lianne La Havas), Petar Janjic (Prince & Corey Wong), Andris Mattson (Moonchild), and Shaan Ramaprasad (Mac Ayers). The “Erosion EP” is set to release at the top of 2023.
